Two friends finished their yoga teacher training.

Both were transformed by their practice and were ready to bring yoga to the world. Certification in hand, both started looking for opportunities to make a living teaching yoga.

After lots of hustling, one teacher cobbled together 15+ yoga classes to make ends meet …

…and the other, took the advice of The Yogipreneur, deciding instead to create her own opportunities by consciously designing her yoga business.

As the years passed, both yogis continued to teach and share the practice of yoga.

The one teaching in local studios + gyms was still working 60+ hours a week, running across town all day long to squeeze in several group classes and maybe a private client… just to barely eek out a livable income.

The other also worked put in serious hours (for the first few years), but was able to design a business where she could leverage her passion for yoga into a profitable and sustainable business that allowed her to live more and work less.

Having lost touch in the years following YTT, the two ran into each other by chance.

As they shared their stories over tea, it was apparent their different paths had changed them.

When one asked the other, “What does success look like to you?”

The first one said: “Not having to stress over paying the rent.

The other said: “Having true freedom to do what I love for people who love what I do.”

After a brief moment of silence the two friends looked at each other and smiled…

As you may have guessed, I am The Yogipreneur who challenges you to take the path less traveled so you too can beat the odds and design a profitable, sustainable yoga business.

With Love + Gratitude,

Hey there! I’m Racheal. Welcome to TheYogipreneur.com.

I want to live in a world where yoga is prescribed over anxiety medication.

After my yoga practice helped me to recover from debilitating anxiety, panic attacks, and adrenal fatigue, I realized that yoga was a powerful catalyst for personal growth, health, and wellbeing.

Realizing my traditional consulting career was literally toxic for my mental, spiritual, and physical health, I walked away from it all to immerse myself in all things yoga.

It was my yoga teacher, the late Arlene Bjork, who encouraged me to deepen my practice and complete my first 200 hour training.

While I loved learning and teaching yoga… what really lit me up was supporting Arlene behind the scenes, growing her yoga community and taking her studio from barely surviving to thriving {allowing her to follow her real dream of traveling the world teaching + presenting at major yoga conferences in the USA, Italy, and more}.

I quickly realized my calling wasn’t in teaching yoga on the mat:: it was sharing my 10+ years experience as an MBA, a small business consultant and entrepreneur to help yoga entrepreneurs turn their passion into a profitable and sustainable business.

Since launching TheYogipreneur.com in 2008, I’ve been behind the scenes at lululemon athletica, Yoga Alliance, International Association of Wellness Professionals, and Female Entrepreneur Association. Through TheYogipreneur.com, I’ve been able to reach and serve thousands of yogi-hearted entrepreneurs.

My mission is simple:: I want to give you all the tools you need to transform your passion into a business and life you love.

It is my deepest desire to provide yogi-hearted entrepreneurs the support, resources, and strategy you need share your passion with a community you love while having the freedom, flexibility, and fulfillment of a thriving business.
