The saying goes “a picture is worth a thousand words”. This is so true! A photograph captures a moment in time that few artistic mediums can truly convey. People can become more inspired to take action by an incredible photo.

So I admit – The Yogipreneur fan page profile picture is…outdated. By about five years. But it seems that I have only recently taken bridal portraits or snapshots of me sweating profusely in Power Vinyasa. I have a photo shoot this weekend for all of my materials for The Yogipreneur with one of my dearest friends and fellow yogini – so look for those pics next week!

Photographs are so important for a yogipreneur! Think of all the ways you need a photograph. Websites. Blogs. Postcards. Schedules. Advertising. Articles. Your facebook profile picture! One picture isn’t enough. Find a photographer and go to town. Headshots. Yoga poses. Smile!

Every time I see this picture of Arlene, one of my favorite yoginis, it makes me laugh! That pose is near impossible for me – but she makes it look like it’s the easiest and most fun pose she can do. I want to DO THAT! So I show up to power vinyasa two nights a week. And smile!
